Pre-Primary Bizarre Report Winner John Kelly

He ‘raised’ $49,000, but didn’t disburse any money?

There appear to be three corporate donations which are illegal in federal elections.

His self loan is dislcosed in receipts, but no loan report is present.

Signs are reported as in-kind, but over $2100

A $15,000 in kind mailing from a printing company?

It could be incompetence or this clown is about to have a longer relationship with the FEC than his campaign has lasted.

His campaign wages are listed as in-kind?

I assume this is all just jumbled together crap, but this is beyond the typical incompetence for new campaigns.

Someone else is going to have to unravel the relationships between his donors and Lipinski, but this is a friggen disaster. If this guy isn’t a plant, he’s a clown.

  1. That’s just it. Where’s the money going? It’s not like he’s holding it a bank for a rainy day.

He and everyone else knows, come 3/21, he’s history. So where’s the $$ going?

  2. I’m guessing, and with that report that’s all I can do is a couple staffers and a sign company. Nothing stands out to me about either, though with some digging, there might be something there.

The great part, if you read it, is when they come up with $78,000 for a calculation. They added up every expense, loan and donation and came up with a number. It’s like negative numbers don’t exist in his universe.

And this guy is a financial planner.

  3. All of the money is coming from the 3rd Congressional District unlike Dan Lipinski and John Sullivan. The majority of Lipinski’s money is from Washington and goes towards paying his father consulting fees. WTF? Sullivan’s doners are from the ultra liberal lakefront groups. They advocate partial birth abortion and gay marriage. Lipinski and Sullivan are carpetbaggers.

  4. the truth[sic]: Sullivan’s doners are from the ultra liberal lakefront groups. They advocate partial birth abortion and gay marriage. Lipinski and Sullivan are carpetbaggers

Funny, the only fundraiser I ever went to for Sullivan was at 115th St & Kedzie.

So maybe we’re talking about two Chicago’s here.

The comment about “partial birth abortion” (whatever that is) and “gay marriage” are also foreign to this campaign.

So sorry to disappoint, but this really isn’t the context in which the campaigns are being conducted here (thank God).

  5. I think several people on this board are in need of a financial planner. Perhaps you should take a closer look at the accounting. The $34101.16 is listed as an offset to Operating Expenditures. This means it is a rebate or refund. This amount is added to the contribution amount. I found this board while looking for info on the canidates in the election today. Nothing on this site was helpful though.
