He applauds the naming of Glenn Poshard to the Illinois Health Facilities Planning Board. Ditto here. If there is one person in Illinois I trust on issues like this (who is alive since Paul Simon passed), it’s Poshard. I have many disagreements with him on social policy, but he is an honest and good man.
The weakly Joyce is special this week. We learn that homosexuality is population control.
I can’t work with this material because it is so over the top. I just have nothing.
Of course, the ironic comment of the column is here:
Christian congregations just follow along. They have no idea the roots of the environmental beliefs are Gaia based. They do not know the difference between being conservative stewards that God?s Word tells us to practice and the worship of the creation drawn from the pagan religions.
Of course, what is most odd about this is that Christmas is largely a replacement for pagan holidays. Most of us who practice Christianity understand this in relation to how religions develop in society and understand the celebration of Christ’s birth isn’t important in terms of getting the day right as much as the point and can understand and accept the historical context. In Joyce’s view of the world, this would be called a contradiction.
ArchPundit contest to find me in The Big One. On the visit to Library Limited, I’m seen. Or at least the top part of my head over the at the time girlfriend.
Here for details on the swing state tour
and my visits go up. Very strange behavior out there…
Oliver Willis and Salon’s War Room for linking to the Keyes top 10 post.
When I first started my blog, a post on Ashcroft’s ties to neo-confederates led to Joe Conason linking to the site–it’s sort of the link that made me catch the bug so it’s especially cool when I get links from them.
Illinois for Kerry isn’t just about Illinois, but they are doing bus trips up to Wisconsin and such. No whining about not being in play–I get the commercials–being in play is overrated.
Be ready for DCCC stuff like this–btw, I have some posts for the DCCC if the weiners get their web stuff worked out–right now their problems are causing the left hand column to download slowly.
The Cross guys outdo themselves with the Take Back Illinois Game. It’s way cool. I haven’t played through yet, but very cool. Take a look and don’t be an ass of a troll. If it isn’t your cup of tea, don’t bother them.
This is pretty cutting edge stuff for campaigns so take a serious look.
It makes a great conversational piece in the living room….Trust me. Even Ms. ArchPundit approves
