Like it or not, that file will be public before the first Tuesday in November. Controlling its release is far better than letting it hit on someone elses timing.

That’s the last I say about it until it hits. I figure Republicans don’t want my advice so I’m going to sit back and watch the show. Let’s maintain a low profile on the issue in comments please.

  1. Wait a minute.

I got really pissed off last night when Judy Barr Topinka said that this was a personal matter and didn’t need to be dragged out into the public.

Excuse me, wasn’t it Henry “Wifestealer” Hyde that made Clinton’s personal matter into the public to the tune of $90 million taxpayer dollars?

Look, it’s very simple. When someone at WGN asks you if there is anything in the file that could impact the race for U.S. Senate, you say “No.” If you can’t say “no” then I would assume that there must be something in the file that would impact the race.

No Democrat would ever, ever get away with this. Imagine if it were Kerry with a sealed divorce file. The Republicans should be held to the same standard.
