Making fun of a veteran injured in combat for the way she walks is not the best way to advocate for your candidate.
TrueRealDemocratAuthentic just posted this to comments:
Mmmmmmmmmmmm, Tammy Duckwalk:
http://www.ebaumsworld.com/videos/bunny_tapdancer.html
He/She did it anonymously and demonstrated his/her stupidty by not even renewing their SBC connection to get a different IP.
UPDATE: Let’s be careful in comments–individuals who say such things aren’t representative of Christine or the vast, vast majority of her supporters.
AP,
I don’t think I would describe that as any kind of political advocacy — it’s just an asshole being an asshole.
Shit-stained scum like that make me embarassed of my species.

Good point–I actually wrote the first part before I realized the different postings being one person.
Gotta agree with you both here.
Speaking of dirtbags. Can I pile on with these two gems delivered by Cegelis supporters in the last two weeks?
“Donna Loves Dean” who said this over at mydd. “…have nothing against Tammy Duckworth, but I have no connection with her. How can a war vet with no legs represent me? It seemed to me that the DCCC were making her a side show rather than a candidate”.
And Kankakee Voice kept peddling the story about how concerned he/she was about Tammy Duckworth having PTSD and was “concerned” about her breaking down on the House floor.
These two ciphers will tell you how progressive they are in the next breath.
As a teacher, I try to encourage my students to be active participants in the civic life of the USA. When our public discourse becomes making jokes about real heroes, like Bob Dole, Max Cleland, and Tammy Duckworth, is it any wonder why good people shy away from seeking office and why young people are turned off to the process?
Ms. Duckworth’s policies, opinions, and positions are fair game. But for any person, regardless of ideology, to launch such a crude attack on a woman who has given so much already for our nation is repulsive, reprehensible and disrespectful to our entire armed forces and our nation, as well as to her.
Adkai Stevenson said, “I believe in the forgiveness of sin and the redemption of ignorance.” I hope the writer who posted that offensive comment will see that they beed both redemption and forgiveness, and offer an apology.
I truly believe this had to be some kid with right-wingnut parents.
Rob, I almost made exactly that accusation, but the person I can match the IP to has been posting for some time. It appears to be a Cegelis supporter–though I think it should go without saying that the vast, vast majority of Cegelis supporters and Christine herself find that repulsive.
