“No to Obama, Osama and Chelsea’s Moma.”
So he finds some woman who not only is terribly offensive, but cannot even spell. Unless there is some reference to modern art I’m not getting.
TPM got the Romney campaign on record:
This obviously invited the question: Was it appropriate for Mitt Romney to hold up a sign likening Barack Obama to the leader of an international terrorist network, responsible for bloody attacks upon the United States, apparently all based on his name? After all, what would the media reaction be if Barack Obama posed with a supporter who had a sign comparing President Bush to Adolf Hitler? The press would go nuts over it, surely, and rightly so.
Election Central contacted Romney spokesman Kevin Madden for comment, asking if it was appropriate for the candidate to hold the sign up with the woman. “The governor stopped briefly for a picture with a supporter who just happened to be holding their own sign with an alliterative play on words,” Madden said, via e-mail. “I don’t think it was equating or comparing anyone.”
IOW, the campaign staffers aren’t much brighter than Flipper.

Wingnuts are trying to claim Romney probably didn’t even read the sign before he posed for the photos. That’s a fine defense. I suppose if he becomes president he’ll sign bills without reading them either.
I’ll tell ya what, they can have all the people who believe Obama is Muslim and went to a madrassa (arabic for school) in Indonosia and we’ll take all the people who know how to spell momma.
Maybe it actually was supposed to be MOMA — you know how demonic those liberal artist types are.
Romney ties his pet dogs to his car for long road trips, causing such fear that they literally crap out. What more do you need to know about him besides that he’s a dog torturer (well, and a pander bear)?
Have loved this site for years, but …
Did you have to insult Flipper?
I think you’re giving the poster writer too much credit. I don’t think it’s “Obama, Osama” but “Obama Osama.” An important difference, I think, because it drives home the fact that even the wingnut rank and file care more about smearing Democrats than catching Osama bin Laden.

Ted,
It’s the dolphin-safe Republicans who are insulting Flipper… (check about 2 mins in here and this vid as well). My preference is the lovable and cuddly pander bear (everyone loves one because they seem to always say just what you want to hear), but Flipper the dolphin is also quite a propos given the rhetorical acrobatics required.

so true… They would demand to know where to get that on a t-shirt…
Bad taste? Sure. But hey, we Republican’s have had 7 years on you on the left calling Bush everything but nice. And after all that, you want decorum?
Should Obama win over the White Witch, and live to tell about it, i’ll call him names… everything but Ni**er.
