So I post the least over three days I have in a month
and my visits go up. Very strange behavior out there…
Call It A Comeback
and my visits go up. Very strange behavior out there…
Oliver Willis and Salon’s War Room for linking to the Keyes top 10 post.
When I first started my blog, a post on Ashcroft’s ties to neo-confederates led to Joe Conason linking to the site–it’s sort of the link that made me catch the bug so it’s especially cool when I get links from them.
Illinois for Kerry isn’t just about Illinois, but they are doing bus trips up to Wisconsin and such. No whining about not being in play–I get the commercials–being in play is overrated.
Be ready for DCCC stuff like this–btw, I have some posts for the DCCC if the weiners get their web stuff worked out–right now their problems are causing the left hand column to download slowly.
The Cross guys outdo themselves with the Take Back Illinois Game. It’s way cool. I haven’t played through yet, but very cool. Take a look and don’t be an ass of a troll. If it isn’t your cup of tea, don’t bother them.
This is pretty cutting edge stuff for campaigns so take a serious look.
It makes a great conversational piece in the living room….Trust me. Even Ms. ArchPundit approves

Oh, good, the former Sec Def and current VP was giving a speech to the creationists at the Discovery Institute. Even worse, he was right:
DICK CHENEY, SEATTLE WASHINGTON, 8/14/92:
“And the final point that I think needs to be made is this question of casualties. I don’t think you could have done all of that without significant additional US casualties. And while everybody was tremendously impressed with the low cost of the conflict, for the 146 Americans who were killed in action and for their families, it wasn’t a cheap war. And the question in my mind is how many additional American casualties is Saddam worth? And the answer is not very damned many. So I think we got it right, both when we decided to expel him from Kuwait, but also when the President made the decision that we’d achieved our objectives and we were not going to go get bogged down in the problems of trying to take over and govern Iraq.” [Cheney Remarks to the Discovery Institute, Seattle, WA, 8/14/92]
For sheer entertainment value, the Illinois Senate race has everyone beat. God bless Alan Keyes. But the Oklahoma race has offered more fireworks than any other race this cycle.
We have Republican candidate Tom Coburn to thank for this. His gaffe-a-minute approach to campaigning has given Democrat Brad Carson a growing lead in the polls in this fiercely Conservative state. Now, the state’s media establishment has turned on Coburn, already reeling from a staff shakeup. All of these editorials were published today, September 22.
Check out the editorials and then visit Carson’s site to help him out. Obama might have this in hand, but give him the tools to be in the majority.
Of this event—maybe later in the weekend, but this should be a good teaser.
