I’ve seen those in many different places, including Washington, D.C., Ohio, and of course around Illinois. It must be a pro-life ad propoganda campaign.
There is a strain of right-wing religious thought* that says you’re not supposed to tailor your strategies to what is effective in persuading people. Instead, you are just supposed to Proclaim the Truth, as loudly as possible, in order to be pleasing to God. It’s then up to God whether or not people’s minds are changed. I can only assume that’s the rationale behind this sort of assault.
* Not that all pro-lifers are right-wing or religious, as I well know, but the people pulling this kind of stunt are generally both.
Yeah, Archie. It’s kind of hard to take in the fact that abortion kills babies. Fortunately, many of these photos have convinced a few people not to abort their babies. As far as I’m concerned, one child saved from hit man is worth all that effort. Fetuses are just babies that haven’t been born yet after the 9th week of conception. That is the only difference between a fetus and a newborn. Location. Not even developmental stage dictates a difference, since a baby is technically still called a ‘fetus’ until it is completely delivered.

Unlike propaganda, they are only speaking the truth. After all, do we not use photos to show people the horrors of the holocaust? I have seen them yet no one reacts with such absolute nastiness about them as I have seen some of the so-called PCers reacting about aborted babies.

Either that or giving people a huge wake-up call as to what an abortion *is*. Perhaps, you should go to their website and check out their motivations instead of simply speculating. Of course, it is unreasonable for them to expect that anyone lacking a conscience will respond to it at all.
