Please Stop Whining About the Polls

They were fine, the assumptions people (including me) made about the undecideds were wrong.

Obama

Pollster Standard Estimate in NH  36.7%
Sensitive 39%
Last 5 38.4%

Edwards

SE:  18.4%
Sensitive:  18.6%
Last 5 18.2 %

Final Tally NH
Clinton 39%
Obama 36%
Edwards 17%The Republican numbers were very close to with McCain picking up 5 points.

It’s the undecideds, not something wrong with the polls.

  1. But … has that ever, ever, happened, that one candidate got literally all of the undecided voters, and swung a percentage point or two from the other candidate?

It’s on now. I’m rooting for him in Nevada, since then he wins SC and probably ekes out a delegate lead on Super Tuesday. Then Washington and Louisiana will seal the deal.

  2. I’m McCain all the way and would support a McCain/Romney ticket that could win. If Obama wins watch his efforts to push us over the top to Socialism. Have you checked out his church? Eerybody is checking out Romney. His religous beliefs, while sometimes contrary to mine, will not push this country into pacifism or socialism.

An Obama of any color is scary.

  3. Merle,

1969 is over that way. You might find an accurate definition of “socialism” there, as opposed to what was put in Conservapedia.
