Democratic Arrogance Check

I lay this at the feet of the US media.

I read the NPR ombudsman standing by NPR’s coverage because it was “balanced”.

In a debate, if one side it lying they don’t get balanced coverage. The media willingly allowed itself to be used by the Bush/Chalabi/Neo Con propaganda machines. The media has not taken responsibility for the problem or reflected on how it’s conventions about “objectivity” were perverted.

The American people are pretty good judges when they have good info and are paying attention. Four in ten thinking SH was involved in the 9/11 attacks is a reflection of out piss-poor journalism more than any flaw with the US public.
