Working the Regional DNC Meeting

Drop your questions for folks there or any information you’d like to hear about in comments. MyDD and Driving Votes have gotten me credentialed for the meeting. I’m unclear where eveything will appear, but expect to at least find links to it from here.

I’ll be at Dean’s event this evening as well. Or if you are going to be there, drop me a note.

For thus unfamiliar with Driving Votes it is the grassroots organization working to fight the Bush Administration and it’s policies, for more, go here

  1. Ask Wellington Webb if it was worth $65 million to call our new stadium “Invesco Field at Mile High” rather than Qwest stadium.

Ask him if it was worth it for him to backdoor Gail Schoettler when she ran for governor in 1998, why he couldn’t deliver his Denver precincts.

Ask him what election he EVER delivered, besides his own.

Ask him why he never scored with Latino/a voters in Denver and in fact worked to keep them away from the polls.

On second thought, don’t waste your time with him.

  2. Take a close look at my friend Donnie Fowler for DNC chair.

Here’s a guy is been on both ends. He was grassroots before grassroots was cool — worked in 14 states including state director for Kerry in Michigan. He’s also done the national piece as Natl Field Director for Gore. 3 years in Silicon Valley, gets new politics, but also understands that we can’t write off the rural Midwest, the West and places like his homestate of South Carolina.

Last week he unveiled his new podcasting plans — sending recorded messages for people to download onto their Ipods.

    He gets it.

Arch, did you see him in STL? What did you think?
