It’s a great issue for him and expect him to keep highlighting it to secure the base and get conservatives foaming at the mouth over it.

Yeh, I’ve been lovin it. Blago is as crafty as Weller when it comes to election year politics.
I’ve been hating it, for the simple reason that Blagojevich may be a good campaigner, but he’s one of the worst governors in Illinois history, and is driving the economy into the toilet. He offers a tuition tax credit, while never understanding that it’s his defunding of state universities that’s driving tuition up. He’s George Bush running as a Democrat. Vote Eisendrath if you want Illinois to survive.
“and is driving the economy into the toilet”
How is he driving it down ?
” He’s George Bush running as a Democrat”
I thought Bush was responsible for one of the largest increases in government spending in history (including education.)
How’s he driving it down? By driving up fees and showing clear fiscal irresponsibility. If I were a business, I’d relocate.
I don’t know if you’ve noticed, but Blago is increasing spending while not raising taxes, which is essentialy Bush lite. Also, very little of Bush’s increase has gone for education, and Blago, according to my friends in education, has actually cut spending, once everything is factored in. He’s certainly slashed spending for higher education. His call for a tuition tax rebate is amusing, since his policies are responsible for most of the increased tuition. He’s a thug who cares not one damn about this state. If you vote for him, you don’t either.
