Cool. Generally, Jim Leach is a good guy, but if you vote for Denny, you are an enabler. Taegan has the numbers.
As I’ve mentioned before, David Loebsack was my college advisor a friend, but with those numbers, he needs to increase his name ID for a chance…Donate here.
And back to normal tonight or tomorrow.
Loebsack seems to be running a decent campaign in Lee County, though the Leach head bands for children were quite popular at the Sweet Corn Festival in West Point, IA.
And did you see this story? http://www.chicagotribune.com/news/nationworld/sns-ap-poll-fraud,1,290116.story?coll=chi-news-hed
I know you’re always talking polls and data analysis. I was surprised that these folks were able to get away with that for long.
A few grassroots activists in Iowa’s 2nd district have begun submitting letters-to-the-editor about the Leach head band issue based on an Op/Ed written by a Native American woman:

No doubt one of the reasons Leach has escaped serious criticism for so long is that he doesn’t distribute them in Iowa City and Coralville because local voters complained. But, he continues this practice in the smaller towns throughout the district.
Recently, we began an online petition that we will deliver to Leach after the last parade of the season: Univ. of Iowa homecoming parade on 10/7.
If you’re a 2nd district Iowa voter, please sign our petition:

I’ll check back for any comments.
Pictures of the Leach headbands are on his website under “Pictures”:
