Hoffman’s announcement launched a multi-city tour of the candidate via an RV clad in his campaign colors of yellow and black. The political newcomer goes to Springfield this afternoon and then will make weekend trips to Alton, Carbondale and Champaign to introduce himself to downstate reporters and voters.
Or just dumb.
Hopefully he will be smart enough to wear an orange shirt on game day.
Mizzou can suck eggs. I had to turn that game off after a bit.
If Hoffman knows what’s good for him he’ll give the Orange and Blue some sort of deference while in town… say, covering his campaign colors with something more appropriate.
Then again ISU is visiting Zuppke Field on Sat. so maybe Hoffman just can’t win if he tries to pander to college fans.
Go Illini!
Yeah, trust me, ISU fans aren’t that wound up about football. Basketball against the Illini is a big deal, football, no.
Yeah… There oughtta be an all-Illinois invitational but there’d be no TV money off it (too local).
But I do hear the Sears Centre in Hoffman Estates is kinda not busy.
Perhaps he was a Chicago Sting fan from way back when – http://www.chicagosting.net/
