Archpundit,
Every word on every page, and all the spaces in between in the text, is underlined. The links are in blue, but otherwise look identical to the rest of it. I’m not on a Mac. I’m on a PC built by Sony and running Windows of some sort, and I’m viewing through Internet Explorer, fairly recent version (It’s my girlfriend’s PC, and I’m not sure of all the details.)
Hope that’s helpful. Austin Mayor’s comment suggests this isn’t happening to everyone. For me, the page now has the look of one of those strident cranks who e-mail you and want to stress the extraordinary importance of every single word they’ve written you. Obviously, that’s not the way I think of the site, or I wouldn’t keep coming back, but I hope you can figure out what makes it look like that on this laptop. No other web-sites I’ve been viewing show up this way.
I’ve tried the first thing–essentially backslashing and underline. If that changes anything let me know. Unfortunately I haven’t been able to isolate the problem. The last time this happened was on macs and it went away on its own. If this doesn’t work I’ll seek some outside help. Sorry for the trouble.
