It’s back. I figure it’s time to start up–last time was too early, but now we have regular news to run this as a weekly feature.

Obviously Brady is doing better than I expected, but what other surprises are there?
I think the GOP is itching to nominate an “outsider” without all of the political baggage that their weak bench of state politicians bring, someone who could be catapulted immediately into front runner status. Although disastrous, I think bringing in Keyes last year for the Senate wetted their apetite for an outside-of-the-box candidate ? you could see it in their flirtations with Ditka and now Edgar…
So I’m going to go out on a huge limb and predict that the GOP attempts to draft none other than Donald Rumsfeld to run for Governor.
