If you caught the earlier part of the show, Maddow really summed up in a quite funny fashion the history of Rod Blagojevich. Maddow found it sad. I found it funny because the sadness of it lost any affect so many years ago.

All that said, other than a fading voice, Fritchey is doing the state proud in a very bad time.

  1. How come it was appropriate to tie Palin to Stevens and Young, but it’s unreasonable to tie Obama to Blagojevich and Rezko?

    And where’s Rahmbo?

  2. GOPer,

Palin was a leader in Stevens’ reelection campaign and got benefits from it.

Blagojevich called Obama a motherfucker because his transition staff wouldn’t go along with his pay-to-play BS and Senate Candidate 1 (Obama’s friend Valerie Jarrett) had nothing that Blago could benefit from.

…Ergo, you’re whining because you’re upset that your gal Palin is knee-deep in Alaska’s mavericky political corruption while America’s guy Obama has kept himself out of Illinois’ muck.

  3. Jesse,

You clearly haven’t been following Rep. Fritchey’s career… He’s been working (and fighting) to improve ethics in this state for much longer than just the past month.

    Grow up.
