Daily Dolt: Fran Eaton is an Evil, Evil Woman

Grandma Obama is back

Remember when Obama attempted to rationalize his 20-year association with Rev. Wright by exploiting his grandmother and calling her a racist? Well, she’s back!

This time he’s exploiting her hip surgery. Attempting to put a human face on an his otherwise cold and calculating persona, Obama is rushing to her bedside, feinting concern, and subtly implying that she’s on death’s door – from hip surgery!

I guess Obama “feels her pain”. We may soon be feeling his.

The comments are even worse

My grandmother died after breaking her hip in a fall.

  1. Only if you spell it with a K. This, the woman hideous hag Marty Ozinga thought was the way to balance a debate.

  2. She’s drunk with desperation, making her typical hate-filled rants all the more despicable. I understand she loathes Obama with all her being, but to attack his grandma with her venom? …Doesn’t Fran Eaton pay attention every Sunday morning?

No wonder all the negative bunk is turning out to be an anvil around the conservatives’ necks this year. It’s so over the top that our fellow Americans seem to be tiring of the soulless, crass John Birchies and their bs.

  3. Thanks for not linking to her site. Thanks also for periodically wading through that awful place to catch and call out the dispicable posters and commenters over there. It’s a public service, but definitely a dirty job.

  4. As the token Republican here, yet again I can’t bring myself to defend her.

If this is the most compelling argument we can come up with (and it isn’t) then we are truly toast.

  5. I caught Fran Eaton at the blogger forum.

A few things bothered me about her.

    1. IIRC she was late.
    2. The rest of the panel stayed fairly non-partisan. Fran Eaton seemed to consider her role to be to insert partisan talking points. And of course she didn’t limit herself to things that were true. I think all the other panelists provided more useful info w/ much less gratuitous partisanship.
    3. Fran Eaton portrayed herself as a citizen-blogger b/c she’s unpaid. She’s a frickin Right Wing lobbyist. Blogging is not a hobby unrelated to her income stream.
    4. Fran Eaton is inappropriately friendly. Most people go through a I’m getting to know you stage, but she jumps right in and presumes a level of friendship and intimacy. This is more acceptable with people who are genuinely nice, but in Eaton’s case it’s pretty clear she’s a partisan hack with little respect for the thoughts and feelings of people who disagree with her. So her uber-friendly ways seem especially insincere.

  6. 1. sorry you didn’t come up and say hi at the blogger forum. I did get caught in traffic and was embarrassed I was late. Coming in from another appointment in the western suburbs got me tangled in the Strangler. I phoned Phil, and he encouraged me to come on, even thought I was late.
    2. I’m in agreement that all provided useful info. It was a fun panel.
    3. Which leads me to your accusation of being too nice. Gosh, too nice. Can you imagine? this proves you guys are impossible to please. I sincerely enjoy hearing others’ views. Wish you guys were the same.

Just a quick question, so I know what lies ahead if Obama wins — how much will you all fight for us to have the right to speak our minds, no matter how offensive you find it?

Sorry if I came across as too friendly and overstepped the stage of intimacy, but, gee, you were talking about me as if you knew me. Thought I’d join the conversation.

    Take care . . .

No one is going to stop you from saying anything. You speaking is the best way to discredit you.

For a woman who claims to be a Christian, what a giant piece of shit you are. I note you don’t try to defend the garbage you spewed–nor have you corrected your story on the girl who committed the hoax in Pittsburgh.

    Do you have any values?
