UPDATE: I know the pics aren’t loading–any suggestions for off-site services to host pics and other media files for the site? The bandwidth issues for this site prohibit too much being hosted at archpundit.com. I’d like to find a relatively inexpensive service that is reliable. Any suggestions are appreciated.

ImageShack has been pretty reliable for me, and I know a handful of high-traffic sites that use ’em:

I use photobucket.com — great site, free, or lo cost if you need the bandwidth, very reliable — you can direct link, no ads, no spyware. images only, tho, no mp3s etc.
