I’m still laughing. In fact, I can’t stop. I’m going to bed and will catch up on the ‘debate’ and thank yous to those who donated.

But thank you! Through this site, over $2500 was raised to help the DCCC. With the Dems having a nine point advantage in the generic ballot, we will hopefully see a wave coming for Tuesday.

  1. What the hell was all that about how being born here shouldn’t automatically make you a citizen? Maybe I just haven’t paid enough attention to Alan Keyes’ ravings in the past (and if so, I have no regrets) but that was new to me.

Oh, yes, and please, please tell me he’s not serious about staying in Illinois after he loses. I can’t take any more of him.

  2. I was outside the event for the pre-debate rally. One of the Keyes supporters claimed “There was a special place in Hell for people like me.” (Charming!) So I asked here to clarify. “God’s retribution is swift,” she replied. So I decided to push the process along: I held up my umbrella to the skies and shouted, “Strike me dead, God! Strike me dead!!” That got laughs from BOTH sides, but alas, no lightning.

    I guess God supports Obama.

  3. Hi, Jerry — I was there too. I heard those guys chanting, “Allan has the Keyes to Illinois.”

Well, he better give them back or he’s not getting his security deposit.

  4. Oh, and as for Keyes’s answer about staying here: I think he’s just upset that he didn’t buy the $85 ticket. It’s up to $157 when I checked Orbitz today.

  5. But you forgot to check Southwest Airlines. Still only $93 one-way. Today only–it requires a 7 day advance purchase. After that it’s $141, and refundable. And we don’t want him with a refundable ticket.

  6. Or, for only $68.00 he can grab a coach seat on the Capitol Limited (great name) departing Chicago Union Station on November 3rd at 5:35 p.m. with brief stops in South Bend, Toledo, Cleveland, Pittsburgh, and Washington, with lounge service all the way to D.C. Not that he’d be wanting a drink or anything like that, but the lounge car is a great place to pick up sinners, or pick on sinners, depending on which way you swing.
