If you haven’t seen a doc about your allergies in a few years, go see one. There are some good drugs out there for allergies now. Allegra has done wonders for me.
Oh, yeah, I’m on Zyrtec and nasacort, but the last several days have been near the top of all the ratings and on those days, not much works. Actually, if it continues, I might be on my way to shots, but not quite yet. The interesting thing about the new drugs is that different ones work for different people–only 40% of people are affected by Claritin and that is one of the higher numbers from what I’ve read. St. Louis is also a miserable place for allergies.
I used to have to get weekly shots as a kid, but thankfully those days are gone. Yeah, I have a friend with terrible allergies and he went through several ‘scrips before his doctor found the right one for him.
