Someone has to be visionary enough to oppose the Federal Reserve system.
Here’s another good one: Keyes believes the First Amendment prevents the federal government from taking any actions against a state that establishes a religion. He even says that a religion can be established by simple majority rule in a state. (WND article, 8.26.2003)
One of the problems with Keyes is that he’s a windbag. His writing and speaking style is dense, so it’s easy to camouflage what he’s saying. If you can wade through it, though, it’s quite frightening.
I just hope that someone asks him flat out: do think the State of Illinois can, by simple majority rule, adopt a religion?
I haven’t checked much out…but the headline downpage at Renew America strikes me as a bit much…
“Alan Keyes is running….for the Lord!”
I didn’t realize we elected that.
Did anyone think about what they were doing when the wrote that?
I think I found the answer to why Keyes doesn’t release his taxes: he doesn’t pay them.
Check out the last paragraph in this article:

Tee-hee.

Keyes sure owns a lot of foundations. Same slogan “running for the lord”, at a differently named site,
http://www.declaration.net/
Check it out. Oppo asssgnment #1: Compare/contrast. Assignment #2: are they FEC registered? State?
(If you look past the first 100 or so entries when you google, does it still qualify as “low-hanging”? AP, help us out here!)
“Low hanging fruit” — I absolutely love this phrase.
Here’s another one:
http://usrallies.us/
Apparently it’s sponsored by both renewamerica and also the declaration foundation — which are the same thing!
They’re planning a *terrorist* rally on Washington! (well, that’s what warriors are, right?)
On their volunteer form you can check off you want to be one of the
“Prayer Warriors -We need you to pray for God?s anointing on the Rallies across America and our National Rally in Washington D.C., October 2004 where hundreds of thousands of God?s grassroots activists will stand up ‘One Nation Under God’.”
This is addictive!
Keyes and I clearly aren’t on the same page here…
I can’t help but think “God’s grassroots activists” won’t be available for a rally in DC- that maybe they’re busy- you know…helping others, being missionaries, etc
