These are two of the dumbest people on the planet, yet they get regular TV airtime on Fox.

Fritchey does as good of a job as one can given the circumstances. Geraldo claims to have read the rule, but has clearly not read the impeachment documents.
Email from 5th Congressional Candidate Charlie Wheelan explaining how the Chicago Machine HATES democracy. They challenge all opponents off the ballots.
My guess is it is State rep. JOHN FRITCHEY who did the same thing in the 32nd Ward Committeeman race to use all machine tactics to throw his opponent off the ballot. So much for democracy.
why does john Fritchey hate democracy so much? because he cannot win with others on the ballot. Why else would he LIE to Geraldo (who is a dolt)
How autocratic. Nothing like Stalinist tactics to screw democracy.

The Lawyer We Need to Build
You may recall that one of my earlier e-mails was titled “Wheelan 1, Machine 0″ referring to the fact that the Democratic machine was not able to slate an official candidate for this race.
Well, the Machine has evened the score; it’s 1-1 now. And we need you to help us pull ahead. Our petition signatures have been challenged, which is a standard harassment technique against independent candidates. The challenge was officially made by a 19-year-old guy whose father happened to be a precinct captain for Dan Rostenkowski. The lawyer who filed the challenge, Tom Jaconetty, has done legal work for Alderman and Committeeman Dick Mell, who is the father-in-law of Governor Blagojevich.
So we don’t know which candidate is behind the challenge (as any voter can officially lodge it), but we know that it’s ridiculous. For example, the complaint alleges that the signature of our neighbors Etienne and Lisa Veber, which were collected by my wife Leah personally, are forgeries. And so on.
We have now hired a lawyer who specializes in petition challenges. (Did you know such a field existed?) It’s expensive and time-consuming. I must admit that this is the first point in the process that I’ve been really angry. This is not how the process is supposed to work. If voters don’t elect me, fine. But if I get thrown off the ballot by Democratic party hacks, that really diminishes the system. If you’ve ever wondered how we could get someone like Rod Blagojevich (and others like him), this is your answer. And it’s pathetic.”
