Daily Dolt: Rand Paul

I’ll be back to more regular posting over the weekend, next week, but let me throw this one out there for a special level of doltishness:

On Good Morning America today, Paul also steered the conversation toward something more recent, President Obama’s criticism of BP following the oil spill. Paul said: “This sort of, you know ‘I’ll put my boot heel on the throat of BP,’ I think that sounds really un-American in his criticism of business.”

So it’s unAmerican to criticize a British company and maybe, maybe hold them accountable for destroying much of the ecosystem of the Gulf States as well as the American businesses making a living there.

Ladies and Gentleman:  it’s a tea party world.

  1. I have never seen anyone implode as a national candidate in the first 48 hours of being a national candidate

  2. Oh, it’s absolutely delicious to see one of these libertarian a-holes get called out for the ridiculous punks they are. I just wonder if his comments on the Civil Rights Act will play well in Ky.

  3. It’s also a world where a opthamalogist who decries against government intervention in our lives and in health care receives over half of his income from medicare!
