Topinka is up and probably will pull this out. Will the Republicans learn from a lesson from their strongest candidate? Or head into the abyss of social conservatism and Bill Simons?
Jeff is having to fight to vote. Hopefully, this is not going to be the story with many of the late voters here.
While the races will be closer than the current number the entire Democratic ticket is guaranteed a win with the exception of Dart–and Dart is competitive.
In the House Democratic pick-ups are there, and the Senate looks good too. Rauschenberger was up with about 1/2 of the vote, but only by about 8.
WGN just showed the Ryan, ahem, ‘victory party’. Made one wish for a wake.
Shimkus should be up around 10, but the Democratic tide is keeping it close. WGN reports 51-49.

I should know better, but after getting smug that John Sharp was doing well in Texas, I found this nugget on my favorite wingnut religious site. He attended a huge service that John Hagee gave at Cornerstone Church in San Antonio.
Cornerstone pastor John Hagee thanked the candidates for withstanding the rigors of running for public office, and he preached against the separation of church and state, welfare, the American Civil Liberties Union, satanism, abortion and gay rights in a sermon titled “In God We Trust.”
