No brainer. Cubs in the playoffs, because they’ll never win once they get there, whereas the American people reelected George W. Bush in 04. Can’t take risks with our country when the overwhelming evidence (100 years worth of it) is that Cubs will never win a Series.

At least the Cubs went quietly with a tiny whimper and indeed made this lifelong White Sox fan actually feel sorry for them. McCain, on the other hand, spends each day demeaning himself and the country in his effort to somehow turn the election around.
Baseball games are still won or lost on the skill of the players. Elections sometimes turn on the dive into the abyss of hate and ignorance. McCain could still pull it off and then what will we have?
