A Rush to Topinka
In danger of becoming collateral damage to the Illinois Circular Firing Squad Team, Topinka has found some help from Bobby Rush. This could be a good sign that even with historically low Republican turnout expected given the ICFST Ticket, Topinka will have a shot. She is professional and moderate and while Dart is an okay guy, it is always nice to have responsible checks on government.
Miller reports nearly a 20 point lead for Blagojevich. This is going to be a significant drag on the rest of the ticket with only Madigan and Dart seriously challenged.
