I guess your advertiser would prefer to allow the telcom/internet companies — the ones who turned the telephone records of millions of Americans over to the NSA and who turned the identities of democracy advocates over to the Chinese government — control the future of the internet.
Right now I don’t trust much of our government, but I trust multinational corporations even less.
