Tom Friedman identifies the the real problem with the Democrats. The Democrats seem paralyzed in fear of a man who couldn’t win the plurality of votes in the Presidential race. Instead of being against his energy plan, why not present an alternative that shows how beholden he is to energy interests. Why not make the case for multilateralism? Why not make the case for fiscal responsibility?
