Besides that, Blago uses his hard hitting style to proclaim that cheaters won’t be tolerated when it appears that a 4-H kids just messed up the paperwork. He also offers up an interesting history of 4-H cheating. I had several cousins who earned most of the spending money for a year by how well their steer did in show. So while the cheating wasn’t commonplace, it wouldn’t be surprising to see cheating, but embarrassing a kid statewide is pretty damn obnoxious.
Oh, and Rich Miller sports a new pic at the Daily Southtown. Take this with a grain of salt from someone who doesn’t even use his name on his web site, but it is a huge improvement over his pic on his site.
I know that cheating is present because I show steers in Logan County. Who the hell do people think they are.? If you don’t have a good enough steer to win, suck it up and face the music, cry babies. You’re lowering yourself to an all new high, that should be frowned upon.
In Logan County, Ohio, cheating in the show ring with steers disgusts me. I show steers right now, my steers name is Ty, and I know that he’s good enough not to cheat. It’s unbelievable what some people will do to win. If you don’t get Grand Champion, then deal with it, wake up and work your ass off with your steers and maybe your hard work will pay off. If not, they’re always next year. I bought my steer for $700, and he’s not the best, but you don’t see me crying about it, now do you. okay, i agree w/ mallory on her subject. cheating in the livestock barn is fuckin’ ridiculus! it should be punishable. people should get disqualified 4 it. i don’t show our cattle, but we do get them butchered 4 meat. It is possible 4 our meat 2 get mixed up w/ sum1 else’s. other people drug their cattle and they use stuff that can cause serious illness. people lie and say they didn’t know anything about it. what a load of shit! last year our meat did get mixed up. and it was infected. be responsible. not only are you endangering yourself but also other people! GO THE FUCK UP!
