I don't condone lying either. It was the only thing Clinton ever did that made me mad. Given how the Justice Dept. has been run for the last eight years, though, I fear that Mr. Smith may have been selectively pursued. And that would make me madder. Bush, Cheney, Rumsfeld, Rove, and (Mark Steven) Kirk still walk free, no? Based on nothing more than he’s your friend, I trust what he says in the article about his regret and remorse.
