   What did they do?

   I had to laugh when it took Blagojevich three tries to say “downstate” instead of (I presume) “down south” on one of the tapes the prosecution played.

   Delgado said something to the effect all the way down to Effingham. That’s not even south of Saint Louis.

   It will be refreshing for the people of our state that on many days our Governor will now be seen walking from the mansion to the statehouse. he knows the geography of the State and I dare say has spoken at dinners in probably every county. And when he went to speak he did not expect a boat load of large checks.
