This timing seems awfully close to the time Mr. Burris mentioned he and his partner (Mr. Lebed) met with the Gov's staff to discuss getting more business from the state. I am guessing that the state contract information came from the "Open Book" feature that Comptroller Dan Hynes created in 2007? If am am right about that then a big thank you to Dan Hynes, not only for this but for being one of the initial architects of the pay-to-play legislation that had Blago in such a tizzy.
