PS Uno Hombre – I hear you on that dial thingee (witness Eaton herself, eek), though I have noticed a very disquieting lack of enthusiasm in my neighborhood among the conservatives. We’ve only had 2 signs stolen all year (and a very feable attempt on a 3rd — apparently the handful of staples were just too darn strong for the would-be vandal). It’s like they’re bummed out.

We had a gaggle of Kerry signs taken in 2004, one right after another, and I lost count of all the lower races that got yanked between 04 and 06.

Not so much this year.

….And it was still a bad joke in my book.

At least with Obama, we don’t have to worry about him sending in a high-paid make-up artist to play the part of Secretary of State or somesuch. Or maybe it’d be a personal shopper to give a stern warning about which couture to purchase.
