Gerson’s assessment of McCain’s speech was the most spot on of ALL the pundits, reporters, et. al. While Andersoon Cooper was claiming that McCain talked about the “specifics”–which was so far off–Gerson saw what most of us saw–a speech that was flat and lacking in specifics.
