No, and again, have you read any of the source material. Obama points out that he is the first person to point out the lot to Rezko. The point is that there was already a contract on the vacant lot and that the sale would have gone through with or without Rezko buying the vacant lot.

Again, read the fucking material.

Honestly, you are saying that the Resko's found this parcel on their own and just happened to be making a bid on it at the same time that the Obama's were? Now who is making shit up.

First, your time frame is way off. Other than some minor issues, the problems with the building didn't really come to public light until 2001-2002.

State Senators simply don't get many housing issues across their desk--alderman do.

And again, there was no partnership to buy the home. The two properties were listed separately, and the vacant lot had a contract on it already so Obama could have bought with or without Rezko. But keep making shit up.

I am just trying to figure out if Obama is a smart and deceptive liar or a naive junior senator with poor judgment. He either knew what he was getting into with Rezko (and did it any way) or should have at least done some homework on finding out who his new patron was.

You just don't go into partnership on the purchase of your dream home with some guy off the street. Like I said, either he is being deceptive about the depth of his relationship with Rezko or he made a huge error in jugement (relying on someone indicted for fraud to complete your home purchase) on the most important financial decision of his life.

If it is the former, then he is no better than the politics he rallies against. If it is the latter, he should stop spouting about his "superior" judgement.

How is there more of a relationship than Obama admitted to? Please be specific because if you read the actual articles I linked to, there's a fair amount of detail on their personal relationship.

And at the time, Obama wasn't even in the State Senate.

So Rezko gets public money and instead of spending on what it was intended, he buys influence with Obama and others. Obama's defense is that he didn't know and that Billary's land deals were worse.

Let's see Rezko wants to hire Obama, but instead Obama goes to work for a firm the does work for Rezko and Rezko related companies. It is suggested that he only does five hours of work for Rezko during his many years at the firm. Then years later Rezko is one of Obama's key supporters for his first run at office. Sounds like there was more of a relationship then is being admited, even if it wasn't recorded in the billable hours.
