They attack the righteous and condemn the innocent to death. ~ Psalm 94:20-21 -- She apparently considers herself to be among "the righteous" (say, ain't that blasphemy? at the very least it is pride...). But, it's unclear whom she considers to be "the innocent" in this debate since the frozen embryos in question already are condemned to death by garbage can -- a fact she routinely, purposefully ignores. (At least <a href="http://illinoisreview.typepad.com/illinoisreview/2007/02/what_will_happe.html" rel="nofollow">Fran tries to claim the numbers of those condemned to die in a garbage can are too few to worry about</a>, a quite perverse way to rationalize an irrational attitude.) To me, I believe it is the least among us who are both the righteous and the innocent -- those who are hurt, sick, and dying. Are these not the very people Christ himself commanded us to care for the most? ...On another note, Stanek's slowly but surely alienating Every. Single. Social. Conservative. In. Existence. Check out her raging holier-than-thou retorts to "Truthful" James (aka Pete Speer, aka Paul, aka Peter Dee 99) at that same post. Circular firing squad indeed.
