Last week, one of Gov. Blagojevich’s best pals told me that the governor would definitely run for a third term.
If Lisa doesn’t run, and Dan doesn’t run, and Vallas doesn’t come back, and Devine doesn’t run, I’ll move back and declare.

I hope to hell the Dem nominee isn’t Madigan. Have the head of the executive branch be the daughter of the speaker of the legislature?
If he isn’t vice president, I’d like to see Obama run for governor in 2010. Let him get some executive experience before he runs for president!!

I think Tim Nieukirk deserves a serious look.
But, in all honesty, I think I’m in Brian’s camp. I still have a hard time thinking that Lisa is as independent of her father as she appears to be. As far as I know, she has yet to be at odds with the old man. And the old man is rotten to the core.
I am still hoping that Blago is forced to step down and Quinn becomes Gov. I’m not certain who I would like to see as governor. Preferably someone who will actually sleep in that giant governor’s mansion.
