   Yeah, electing a career politician who shovels tons of pork into his district is FAR funnier than giving a chance to a self-made businessman who is a true fiscal conservative and will actually shake thing up in Washington.

   It’s because of people like Rep. Hunter that the Republicans are losing the Congress next week.

   But thanks for the laugh. John Cox will have the last laugh.

   He stood up as president of the 2 million-member Chicago area GOP to fill this slot on the ballot as a favor to the party, making the point that this elected position made no sense, and was just another way of putting a Daley machine candidate into office. He got over 800,000 votes without trying. So give it a rest.
