<blockquote>
Maybe the Trib Editorial Board could focus on something practical like that since their 'City columnist" thinks issues in Oregon, Washington, and Canada are vitally important to Illinois voters.
</blockquote>

Actually, I would think anybody who actually cares about where the spotted owl lives would be the type concerned with what's going on in Oregon, Washington, and Canada.

Dear Lord! Who is thinking of presevering Cahokia Mounds? What would that even mean? Do you presever them at some given height, or do you just presever them right at ground level. After they're presevered, can they be reattached? And if we know they're going to be reattached at some point anyway, could we say that in their presevered state, they're not really severed, they're just preattached?

You may presume talking, gentlemen.

"Between disappointments over Stroger and Blagojevich it's hard to figure out for whom one should vote."

A Vote for Blago in '06 is
A Vote for Quinn in 07.
