I'm not a big believer in the death penalty... but many, many people made the ultimate sacrifice for this man's rigid adherance to conservative philosophy and the many "mistakes" it induced.

Brownie is proving it every time he opens his mouth.

This isn't about mistakes, this is about rigid adherance of conservative ideology. "Not in the ice business" is a direct application of limited government role. And he doesn't understand why Congressmen don't get that. In fact, he's so completely wrapped up in his warped conservative mindset that he doesn't understand why people are upset -- he was just doing what he was told: set FEMA up in a conservative framework. It worked perfectly from a conservative point of view -- people had to fend for themselves and the local governments were in charge.

This is the ultimate test of a limited role of government in people's lives -- and we now know the results. Problem is most folks don't get that connection between the conservative ideology and the results it produced.

He better not show his face anywhere along the Gulf Coast for a long time to come -- gun laws aren't so strict down there.

(And no, none of this is any sort of threat and I would never intend it to be. The man just disgusts me.)
