Come on, the reason people forgave Clinton is that they knew he was ENGAGED on solving problems, and 9 times out of 10 (yeah, we all know about the other one) he was actually working. No one is really sure WHAT the heck Rod is up to when he’s late. Running in his Chicago neighborhood at 2pm on a legislative day?

All of which is true, but doesn’t hurt the President. I’m with you on this, but I’m not sure it matters to many who aren’t obsessed with politics.
