I think Hull is dropping fast. If this becomes a two-person (Obama/Hynes) race, that helps Hynes. Obama theoretically needs Hull and Pappas to combine for at least 30% of the vote.

I don’t think you can discount Hull’s money in this. I suspect he’ll be very competitive all the way. That said, however, Obama seems to be running a pretty effective campaing these days (after his slow start).
Does anyone think that Pappas has even the slightest chance?
1. Hull (but dropping)
2. Obama (rising)
3. Hynes (rising?)
4. Pappas
5. The rest

I think you have to give Obama the big mo at this point (geez I’m an Obama supporter and this is the first roll call of the campaign where I would make him #1!)
Hull is clearly dropping and, I think, would lose to barack right now. In many ways this is the ideal scandal for the Obama campaign. Hull’s problems are “personal” which probably means that the other campaigns wont make a great deal of hay about it but the news cycle will probably carry it to election day. This will give hull a drop but I am guessing he wont be seeing “Blair Hull Beat His Wife” ads every day.
