You would think with our intelligence, ability to communicate, and creativity that we could find a way to live as one. While you are pontificating on that, I’d ask Mr. Xeno about the IQ rates of the Irish and Italians in the 1800-1900s, the crime rates of those groups, the illegitimacy rates of those groups, and how they’ve changed, and what they have in common then with certain groups now. (hint, it ain’t race).

Getting to the issue, however, I would point out that there WERE African civilizations that achieved greatness in the past. The Zulus in particular. In any event, civilizations depend on many factors to survive, but the primary factor is environment. Once the Fertile Crescent began to dry out about 10,000 years ago, that one-time paradise which could feed hundreds of thousands became a virtual wasteland. THAT is what caused the fall of the ancient African civilizations, not the color of their skin. (Duh!)

For more information (for those of you who are actually interested in LEARNING something instead of simply repeating your spurious claims of superiority), I recommend two books by Jared Diamond: “Guns, Germs and Steel” is the first (which gives a convincing explanation of how some civilizations advanced at a faster rate than others), and “Collapse” (which examines the collapse of several civilizations and attempts to draw conclusions from the evidence).
